Parish history and playoff berths are on the line Friday night in the final week of the #STPPSFootball regular season.
In one of two games in Mandeville, No. 2 Lakeshore (9-0) looks to wrap up its second consecutive District 8-4A title when it hosts Salmen (1-8).
Lakeshore has won 21 consecutive regular-season games is one win away from back-to-back 10-0 regular seasons. The Titans would be the first St. Tammany Parish high school to post back-to-back undefeated regular seasons since Covington High in 1975 and 1976.
The second game in Mandeville features the Skippers (2-6) and Covington (3-6). Meanwhile in Covington, Fontainebleau (5-4) will go for its sixth win of the season when it faces St. Paul's (5-4).
Winners of six straight, Slidell (7-2) hosts cross-town rival Northshore (4-5). A win for the Tigers would clinch their best regular season record since 2006.
Friday's final game features Pearl River (6-2) at Franklinton (4-5) where the Rebels are seeking their first seven-win season since 2008.
